No. 8

I haven't used water color much, but after reading a graphic novel called "Koko be Good," I was inspired to experiment with single-color washes.

Made with: ink and watercolor

No. 7

This one is really old; I drew it in high school and found it recently when my old high school sketchbook resurfaced.

Made with: graphite

No. 6

Made with: ink and colored pencil

Cha Cha Cha

This upload looks really grainy, too. Damn -- graphite and my camera phone surely do not mix.

Anyhow, I wanted this piece to have an unfinished look, like a rough sketch, so I left her hair unfinished and gridded in her background with ink, graphite, and pieces of plastic that I cut into squares, melted down, then sewed to the page to add texture.

Made with: graphite, ink, melted plastic

Midnight Dreary

I wanted this one to look darker and scarier ... so dousing this thing in pink glitter probably wasn't my smartest move ...

It was inspired by an Annie Leibovitz photo, like a few other pieces I'll throw up here eventually

Made with: ink, graphite, pastel, oil paint, and thread

Heyyyy Ladiesss

Made with: graphite, ink, glitter

"Classified" -- a would-be, never-to-be pulp novel

My take on 1940s-era pulp novels.

Made with: graphite, pastel, ink, glitter, thread, and ... two small pieces of torn-up newspaper sewn onto the lower left hand corner :)
